This evening I recieved a phone call from the shelter project manager of the Norwegian Refugee Council. I am to meet with her tomorrow afternoon at 1 o'clock for lunch at the dreaded YaYa center. I will now be leaving Nairobi on Sunday morning at 7:30 am to transfer to Dadaab. I will arrive that evening. I will continue to have 24/7 acces via email and cell phone/text message.
I am so happy to finally be moving on...a week of complications can be expected, to require another week I was getting rather down. It is with great happiness that I can move forward.
I suppose I could go into great detail about the rest of my day, rubbing shoulders with an old Irish anthropologist and other late night stories, but I am quite exhausted and am going to instead go to sleep.

I look forward to reading your blog daily and thinking of you more than often. Other than having diarrhea of the eye sounds like all is going well. Looking forward to updates as your project advances.
